In the twilight season

Winter’s purity in white

Self-reflection abounds

Gaining personal insight

The chill of the Northern wind

Changes in perspective

Celebrations of Yule

Each honor is subjective

Lessons we learn throughout the year

Are subliminal in kind

Truth becomes clear

In your conscious mind

Welcome the wisdom gained

In your soul’s progression

Each serves its own destiny

In your life’s expression

See past the darkness

Of this twilight time of year

Welcome the Sun’s return

In your twilight Yuletide cheer

Yule Crone
On a cold winter’s night
A silhouette of a Crone
Silent in her wisdom
Far away from home
Her breath is like the northern winds
Which call for winter’s rest
Her eyes are like the Dark Moon
Perched upon its nest
Of the night time winter’s sky
Stars that shine so bright
As she watches her children
Prepare their Yuletide Rite
Candles on the Altar
Holly fills the air
Mistletoe and pine
Mixed with loving care
A toast to the Dark Mother
Who reins this time of year
Share her blessings with all you meet
Fill their hearts with cheer
On a cold winter’s night
A silhouette of a Crone
Bring us the reminder
Blessings of hearth and home
Sending this Yuletide greeting
To lands both near and far
For like our Great Crone Goddess
You are the Season’s star.

Yuletide Blessings
Yuletide greetings
This time of year
Holiday celebrations
Filled with cheer
Deck the hall
And trimming the tree
Children all lit up
With sparkle and glee
In this Yuletide spirit
Hearts fill with hope and love
Keep this love light burning
Daily blessing from above
Hold that special feeling
That you share this sacred night
Help heal the hearts that reeling
Help keep their spirits bright
It is up to all of us
To change the wronged to right
Share the Holiday Blessings
Everyday and every night
Blessings come in large and small
And sometimes subtly
But each gift we give with love
Comes back unexpectedly
But when we look into the eyes
Of someone that we’ve touched
You can feel the love that they return
It means so very much
So share your Yuletide spirit
With everyone you see
For the gift of giving brings such joy
So mote it be!
